Predominantly heavy red granite soils - includes an estimated 906 ha (2,238 ac) of excellent dryland cropping country.

WATER

The Pinnacles has an outstanding reticulated watering system including 4 tanks (located in Hill, Clover, Windmill, & Homestead paddocks) which reticulate to a series of stock water troughs. There are two access points for town water. A network of 15 surface dams supplement the reticulated trough system. Back Paddock North and South are bisected by Wheel of Fortune Creek.
