SITUATION
Well situated - 22km from Coonabarabran, 46km from Mullaley, 83 km from Gunnedah, 216km from Mudgee, 181km from Dubbo, and approx 478km from Sydney.
A complete range of rural, commercial and educational services at Dubbo, Coonabarabran, Mudgee, Dunedoo and Gulgong. Livestock saleyards at Tamworth, Dubbo, Gunnedah and Mudgee.
COUNTRY & SOILS
Principally well drained, gently undulating country with mainly red-brown loam soils. Approximately 850 acres sown to cereal rye and French white millet in 2008/2009.
The property has a strong history of natural fertilizers in line with organic management practices.
Grazing land encompasses a mixture of pastures including Serradella (legume - 22% -24% protein) clovers and rye.
TIMBER
Timbers include box, bloodwood, stringybark, ironbark and kurrajongs. Generally cleared for grazing and cropping with some timber belts.

SOFTWOOD PINE PLANTATION
Well established Radiata softwood pine plantation. Approximately 140,000 trees. 13 years of age.
STRONG WATER RESOURCES
A progressive water harvesting catchment plan providing significant storage with 3 large dams and 19 smaller stock dams, some spring fed. Double frontage to the permanent Swamp Creek.
PADDOCKS
Subdivided into 19 main paddocks, predominantly good fencing throughout.

PRODUCTIVITY AND MANAGEMENT
Grenmore has been managed as a diversified fat lamb, beef cattle, stone fruit and cash cropping operation in line with NASAA Certification (Number 2122) organic farming practices, to achieve premium prices in the growing organic market.
Management conservatively estimates stocking rates of approximately 200 cows with 800 -1,000 sheep plus 800 -1,000 acres of cash cropping.
Currently the property is enjoying an outstanding season with summer rains providing abundant feed.
