Climate and Rainfall

Ideal climate with an early ripening season, maximum sunlight and minimum frosts. Approx. 361 mm rainfall per annum.

Water & Irrigation

Water is a feature of Talinga Park. There are 3 equipped irrigation bores as well as a fourth sleeper bore with a license for approx. 3,370MgL ground water.

Irrigation Layout

There are 3 active bores with 1 sleeper – supplying irrigation water to the grapes via a drip irrigation system, and the citrus via “under tree” sprinkler system.

Pumping, Fertigation and Filtration Systems

3 bores are fully equipped and pump approx. 130 – 150 litres per second via 200 – 300mm PVC mains, 150 – 50mm sub-mains, to in-line drippers for grapes and spinner sprinkler heads for citrus.
