Rarely is one of the leading properties
in the Roslyn district offered for sale.

Wallaroy with its historic bluestone homestead and heavy carrying pastured acres provides a wonderful opportunity to acquire all or part of one of the blue ribbon agricultural properties in a dress circle location – only 2 ¼ hours from Sydney.

Wallaroy is a large holding within the district, allowing for economies of scale for owners wanting to maximize profitability as a livestock breeding or fattening operation. It also provides an opportunity to invest in a “landbank” as there is huge potential for future subdivision for rural residential development, with an existing high quality road system.
The property is being offered for sale in four lots, giving buyers the opportunity to purchase any or all of the lots, depending on their requirements.

With the help of heritage architect Douglas Gordon, the original bluestone home was completely restored and extended in 1997 almost doubling its original size, as well as opened it up to the warming northern light in winter – whilst maintaining and highlighting its historic character, creating a liveable mixture of formal and friendly.

Blackbutt floorboards, cut in 10 inch widths from old pillars out of the wool store in Geelong, 150 year old 2m bull nose verandahs and striking bluestone walls skillfully blended with Australian hardwood planking are some of the finishing touches that give the homestead its characteristic friendly grandeur.
