As with the rest of Australia and for that matter, the world, we have had to revise our work practices for the immediate future, in an effort to reduce the infection rate of this horrific virus.
I therefore wish to inform you what is happening at Meares & Associates
- We remain open for business, and therefore will continue to service our clients both within Australia, and offshore.
- In doing so we will be guided by the instructions from the Australian Government and the national Chief Medical Officer.
- We have already devised a plan whereby 2/3 of our staff will continue to work from home, and 1/3 will take some annual leave, at any given time.
- All staff can initially be contacted as usual via the main switchboard phone number – 612 9362 8111.
- Email contact details to either the office or staff directly will remain ‘as per normal’.
- We will encourage digital and internet communication, including Skype, rather than physical meetings.
- “On farm” visits or inspections will continue, on the basis that the property owner and the visitors agree to the visit and the conditions of the same, and abide by the Government’s social distancing policies, and whatever else is required.
- We will review the above arrangements on a regular basis, as needed.
- I personally will be available to discuss work related issues as usual, on virtually a 24/7 basis.
