The Hunter region has Mediterranean type climate with 4 very distinct seasons. Daily temperatures of 21c to 28c in Summer, winter 18c to 4c. Temperature and rainfall patterns across the Upper Hunter region are strongly influenced by the topography and by coastal (maritime) atmospherics.
